Remote Sr Software Engineer (UX, JavaScript, API)

Description:

• The Sr Software Engineer (UX) at NBCUniversal will lead the development of innovative systems and solutions using emerging technologies.
• Responsibilities include developing front-end prototypes for proofs of concept, integrating front-end systems into Active Directory for SAML authentication, maintaining code quality through testing, creating documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• The role involves deploying to cloud-based platforms, troubleshooting application issues, and utilizing tools for code and test generation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack or front-end development/engineering with expertise in modern JavaScript and at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred).
• Strong understanding of web design principles, responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and front-end testing frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies, RESTful services, and agile development practices.
• Ability to visualize system architecture, work in secured network environments, and integrate conversational AI-generated content technologies.
• Effective communication skills, problem-solving ability, and translating business needs into technical requirements.
