Description:
ZenBusiness is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager for the new customer acquisition team.
The role involves working closely with management, engineers, marketing, product owners, and designers to build and deliver new product features and enhancements for small business customers.
Responsibilities include owning the Acquisition domain, maintaining and raising engineering and operational excellence, partnering with other functions to develop the product roadmap, leading teams through complex demands, working in an agile environment, creating a culture of high-quality code, fostering inclusivity and open feedback, recruiting top talent, and creating a fun virtual team environment.
Qualifications include a minimum of two years leading high-performance technology teams, five years of software development experience, expertise in WordPress development, a track record of high-quality product delivery, experience in Agile environments, ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and a desire for coaching talent.
Bonus qualifications include macOS and G-Workspace knowledge.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience leading and growing high-performance technology teams
Minimum of five years of relevant software development experience
Experienced in WordPress development, including best practices, performance, and innovation
Proven track record for high-quality product delivery through data-driven experimentation
Desire for coaching up a strong succession of talent
Experience managing other people leaders of all skill levels
Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Curious and comfortable learning new things and diving in where needed
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
