Remote Sr Software Systems Engineer-9397-Data Science/Data Platform-Big Data -Backend (Python, Microservices, Rest Gen AI)

Description:

• Be a thought leader and forward thinker to drive an innovative vision for various products and platforms
• Design and launch strategic machine learning (ML) solutions and drive business-wide innovation
• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and operations
• Participate in technical discussions, strategy, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
• Develop high-performance, high-scale microservices architectures, including synchronous and asynchronous web services
• Create real-time online inferencing for complex models using Triton, TensorRT, and mixed precision computing
• Mentor and develop other engineers, establish technical direction, and foster team culture
• Build highly resilient and scalable systems, champion operational and process improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in mathematics/computer science or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in Python with in-depth knowledge of its advanced features and libraries
• Expertise in designing RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience in technologies like FastAPI
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices
• 3+ years of experience in leading the design and architecture of large distributed systems on cloud platforms
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Preferred: MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience in ML
• Preferred: Experience with ML technologies like PyTorch, Sagemaker, Triton, TensorRT, etc.
• Preferred: Familiarity with NoSQL and document databases
• Preferred: Ability to handle big data, optimize workflows, and improve system performance
