Remote Sr Staff Engineer

Description:

• RecargaPay is seeking a Sr Staff Engineer to join their talented software team working on mission-critical applications.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• The role involves writing well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• The Staff Engineer will contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and create/maintain software documentation.
• They will support continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and technologies for architectural review.
• The position also involves mentoring, teaching, and providing advice to other team members and solving technical problems of high scope and complexity.
• The Staff Engineer will interface with EMs and Senior Managers, propose technical implementations, and guide conversations to encourage collaboration across teams.

Requirements:

• Experience in practical engineering functions is required.
• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is necessary.
• The candidate should be familiar with dealing with larger domains of high complexity.
• A solid understanding of web applications, security, session management, and best development practices is essential.
• Knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservice Architecture is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques is crucial.
• Proficiency in designing complex distributed applications for high performance, scalability, and reliability is a must.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning is required.
