Description:

SkyGrid is seeking a Senior Systems Validation and Verification Engineer to support the planning, designing, and execution of system validation, integration, and verification activities.
The role involves collaborating with functional teams to create test plans, design and execute manual and automated test cases, and document and maintain test results.
The engineer will manage problem reports by documenting, prioritizing, and tracking issues through resolution.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as quality assurance practices.
The position requires supporting integration testing, which involves validating interfaces, data flow, and communication protocols to identify and resolve integration issues.
Performance objectives include identifying verification and validation activities for system and subsystem requirements, developing procedures and reports, and maintaining the verification and validation matrix.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM degree is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry.
Experience in integration, verification, and validation of complex avionics or terrestrial systems is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in planning and conducting integration testing to ensure seamless collaboration.
Familiarity with ARP 4754A is required.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced engineering degree (Masters) from an accredited institution, familiarity with DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-331, and familiarity with testing network systems.
