Remote SRE Engineer

Description:

• The SRE Engineer position at CloudLinux involves managing access, providing compute resources, and developing infrastructure projects and automations.
• Responsibilities include user management, server management, DNS management, security tasks, monitoring, incident resolution, service creation, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• The role requires in-depth knowledge of RHEL operating systems, network fundamentals, compute environments, monitoring tools, configuration management tools, and cloud providers.
• The SRE Engineer must be proficient in English, have troubleshooting skills, experience with scripting languages, CI/CD tools, and version control systems.

Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of RHEL operating systems and derivatives like CentOS and AlmaLinux.
• Comprehensive knowledge of network fundamentals.
• Experience with bare-metal servers, virtual machines, and containers.
• Ability to monitor infrastructure components and services.
• Familiarity with Ansible and other configuration management tools.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with at least one commercial cloud provider.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of the Git version control system.
