Remote SRE - Freelance Security & Automation Engineer (Pentesting Focus)

Description:

• The role is for a Freelance Security & Automation Engineer with a focus on pentesting at Mindrift, a company dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence through collaborative projects.
• You will train AI systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled and ethical manner.
• Your responsibilities will include designing and executing a code injection attack to identify vulnerabilities in an AI-powered computer agent.
• You will work with Docker containers, write Bash and Python scripts, modify HTML files, and craft malicious Linux commands.
• An onboarding session and sample documentation will be provided to guide you through the process.
• The position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to AI development from anywhere.

Requirements:

• Strong Linux administration and automation skills are required, specifically in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with web security, including HTTP, API security, web scraping, and DOM manipulation, is necessary.
• You must have knowledge of AI security risks, such as prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and AI red teaming.
• A deep understanding of networking protocols, OS security, and web application security is essential.
• Expertise in cloud security, including AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD security, is required.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1) or above is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are needed for this role.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
• You must have a laptop, internet connection, available time, and enthusiasm to take on challenges, as the role is fully remote.
