Description:
- Bitquery is seeking a full-time SRE engineer to enhance, monitor, and support the infrastructure and automation processes.
- Responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of software and services, analyzing and improving product performance and availability, identifying bottlenecks, improving system alerting and incident management, and minimizing system recovery time.
- The role involves working with monitoring systems like Prometheus, Icinga, and Grafana, formalizing SLIs and SLOs, analyzing incidents, and managing capacity.
- The company operates internationally and focuses on blockchain data solutions for various verticals like DeFi, DEX Arbitrage Analytics, and Crypto Surveillance & Forensics across major blockchains.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure software and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, and Ruby for software support.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies like containerd, Docker, and Kubernetes for over 2 years.
- Ability to set up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, create fault-tolerant systems with monitoring and alerting, and understand infrastructure as code principles.
- Knowledge of network security principles, maintenance of blockchain nodes, and availability in the US timezone.
