Description:

You will be responsible for contributing to a team that is building and maintaining workflows that automate releasing, testing, and deploying products.
The role involves improving staging and production environments for SaaS distributions.
You will research and build monitoring and analysis tools to optimize the building and deploying of the codebase.
The position requires managing distributed systems and application resources.
You will build workflows for delivering software to various platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to automate deployment and scale products.

Requirements:

A BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Experience with continuous/rapid release engineering (CI/CD) is necessary.
Familiarity with "Infrastructure as Code" configuration management systems such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible is required.
Experience with Apache Kafka is essential.
You must have experience building and administering alerting and monitoring systems for API services.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems is required.
Knowledge of one or more mainstream programming languages (Go, C/C++, Python) is necessary.
Strong skills in network services such as DNS, TLS/SSL, and HTTP are required.
Experience working in a 24/7/365 service environment is essential.
You should have the ability to debug Kubernetes clusters, issues, and networking problems.
The role requires designing, implementing, managing, and orchestrating Kubernetes container clusters.
Any additional tasks required by the manager must be performed.
