Description:

Workana is seeking a Semi-Senior DevOps and Automation Engineer to join the technology team of their client.
The main objective is to manage and automate the technological platform that supports high-impact products in the Fintech ecosystem of Latin America.
Responsibilities include maintaining and evolving the deployment automation of the platform on GCP using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and PostgreSQL.
The role involves managing, configuring, and deploying in development, testing, and production environments using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Secrets, and Keybase.
The engineer will create and monitor proactive alerts for error detection and issues related to availability, performance, and security using tools like Elastic, Kibana, Sentry, and NewRelic.
The position requires improving CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enhance product quality, security, and performance.
The engineer will implement and maintain automated tests for Backend (PyTest), mobile applications (Appium), and web applications (Playwright).
Participation in daily standups, planning, and technical discussions is expected, along with providing technical support to users at the second and third levels.
The role includes contributing to the design and evolution of the technological platform and creating technical and process documentation following internal standards.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in DevOps positions or related roles is required.
Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL is mandatory.
Strong experience in task automation using Celery/Redis is necessary.
Proficiency in Git and Python is required.
Experience in creating and executing automated tests for Backend (PyTest), mobile applications (Appium), and web applications (Playwright) is essential.
Advanced scripting and terminal management skills are required.
Familiarity with Linux environments is necessary.
Experience working under agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is required.
Key skills include the ability to work independently, clear and effective communication about tasks, collaboration with distributed and remote teams, troubleshooting skills, and adaptability to dynamic environments and evolving technologies.

The position is remote with a full-time schedule and flexible hours.
The salary is USD 2,300 per month.
The contract is direct for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
Employees are entitled to 15 working days of annual vacation.
