We are looking for a SSR Software Developer from COLOMBIA for a telecommunications client.
The ideal candidate should be proactive and committed, with a background in Systems Engineering, Software Development, or related fields.
This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining captive portals, ensuring innovative and robust solutions in access portal management and customization.
Responsibilities include designing and developing customized captive portals according to company or client requirements.
The developer will implement and configure authentication and access control solutions in wireless networks.
Continuous monitoring and maintenance of the secure operation of captive portals is required.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to integrate captive portals with other systems (CRM, databases, etc.) is essential.
The role involves conducting functionality tests, identifying errors, and optimizing portal performance.
Technical documentation and user manuals for implemented portals must be created.
The developer will also be responsible for the homologation of access point brands (APs).

Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with captive portals is required.
Solid knowledge of network and authentication protocols (Radius, LDAP, etc.) is necessary.
Familiarity with technologies related to captive portals (FreeRADIUS, MikroTik, pfSense, etc.) is essential.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, or similar is required.
Familiarity with wireless network management platforms (Cisco, Ubiquiti, etc.) is important.
The candidate must have problem-solving skills and the ability to provide efficient solutions.
Skills in creating technical documentation are required.
Desirable skills include:
- Certifications in networking or software development (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.).
- Experience in UX/UI design for web portals.
