Description:

  • They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (backend) for the LATAM region to join the Engineering team, responsible for pushing the long-term technical vision for critical platform components, designing systems and architecture impacting multiple teams, developing scalable and resilient services and systems, and setting technical standards and efficiency across Xepelin.
  • The role involves working in a challenging environment with opportunities to contribute to the product, collaborate with various teams, and mentor engineers for their technical career development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of total experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript is required.
  • Experience working with AWS.
  • Expertise in designing scalable distributed services.
  • Relevant experience in developing high-quality services and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technically complex projects involving multiple engineering teams and platform-wide impact.
  • Proven track record of developing engineering best practices and improving development efficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with different skills, expertise levels, and contexts.
