The Staff AI Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify impactful use cases for generative AI.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining robust APIs for generative AI model integration, ensuring scalability and low latency.
The role involves implementing and optimizing workflows for model training, fine-tuning, and inference using large-scale pre-trained models.
The engineer will develop and manage end-to-end pipelines for generative AI models, including preprocessing, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
Conducting experiments to evaluate and fine-tune generative AI models for performance metrics is also a key responsibility.
The engineer will stay updated on advancements in generative AI research and integrate new techniques into the organization.
Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of generative AI systems is essential.
Documentation of processes, architectures, and technical decisions is required to facilitate collaboration and improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in ML engineering, with at least 1 year focused on developing generative AI products.
Experience with advanced LLM design patterns, particularly Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), is required.
Knowledge of traditional ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised systems or neural networks) is necessary to determine the appropriate solution type.
Experience in designing and building APIs and deploying them in a production environment is essential.
Expertise in MLOps, including deployment, model monitoring, and CI/CD workflows, is required.
Familiarity with the GCP ecosystem is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving, system design, and technology decision-making skills are required.
