Uniswap Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Application Security Engineer to take on a technical leadership role.
The role involves driving the security of applications, mentoring a team of security engineers, and ensuring software products are robust against security threats.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of application security principles, a proven track record of implementing security best practices, and strong leadership skills.
Key responsibilities include leading the application security team, conducting regular code reviews and security audits, designing and maintaining security measures, performing threat modeling, and leading incident response efforts.
The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement of security processes and practices.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in application security or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
A deep understanding of application security principles, practices, and technologies is essential.
Experience with security testing tools and methodologies, such as static and dynamic analysis and penetration testing, is required.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript, is necessary.
Strong knowledge of web application security standards, such as OWASP Top Ten and SANS/CWE Top 25, is expected.
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes) is important.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams, are essential.

The minimum full-time salary for this position ranges from $264,000 to $294,000, with additional compensation elements including equity, tokens, and benefits.
Full-time employees at Uniswap Labs are eligible for company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for themselves and their dependents.
