Remote Staff Application Security Engineer

• Uniswap Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Application Security Engineer to take on a technical leadership role.

• Key responsibilities include leading the application security team, conducting regular code reviews and security audits, designing and maintaining security measures, performing threat modeling, and leading incident response efforts.
• The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement of security processes and practices.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in application security or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
• A deep understanding of application security principles, practices, and technologies is essential.
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies, such as static and dynamic analysis and penetration testing, is required.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript, is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of web application security standards, such as OWASP Top Ten and SANS/CWE Top 25, is expected.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes) is important.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams, are essential.

Benefits:

• The minimum full-time salary for this position ranges from $264,000 to $294,000, with additional compensation elements including equity, tokens, and benefits.
