Description:
Sastrify is seeking a Staff Back-End Engineer to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, drive technical excellence, and innovate in managing SaaS tools.
The role involves defining and designing scalable, secure, and performant technical architectures for products.
Responsibilities include overseeing the application lifecycle, advocating for DevOps best practices, and promoting serverless and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural solutions is a key aspect of the position.
The Staff Back-End Engineer will act as a thought leader within the engineering team, fostering a culture of agility, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Technologies used include TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, AWS Lambda functions, Terraform, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and various AWS services.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of software development experience with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Deep experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
Strong DevOps knowledge, particularly in managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality products to production and driving technical innovation.
Passion for leading teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring others.
Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and strong communication skills.
Commitment to continuous learning, driving technical and organizational improvements.
Fluency in English and ability to thrive in a remote work environment within EMEA (GMT±2 timezone).
