Description:

  • Sastrify is seeking a Staff Back-End Engineer to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, drive technical excellence, and innovate in managing SaaS tools.
  • The role involves defining and designing scalable, secure, and performant technical architectures for products.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing the application lifecycle, advocating for DevOps best practices, and promoting serverless and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural solutions is a key aspect of the position.
  • The Staff Back-End Engineer will act as a thought leader within the engineering team, fostering a culture of agility, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Technologies used include TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, AWS Lambda functions, Terraform, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and various AWS services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Deep experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
  • Strong DevOps knowledge, particularly in managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products to production and driving technical innovation.
  • Passion for leading teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring others.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, driving technical and organizational improvements.
  • Fluency in English and ability to thrive in a remote work environment within EMEA (GMT±2 timezone).
