The role involves expanding the product that simplifies the traditional manual process of transacting tax credits.
The engineering team consists of eight diverse engineers who prioritize collaboration and psychological safety.
The tech stack includes Typescript, React, SQL, Vercel, and Supabase PaaS/BaaS.
Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and cross-functional partners, writing well-structured code, leading backend and data platform design, participating in engineering learning sessions, and contributing to team culture and best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of professional backend or data engineering experience, including experience in shaping architecture and technical best practices.
A B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
Expertise in data or platform engineering, including data warehouses, data pipelines, MLOps, and developer tooling is necessary.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US or Canada.
A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to learn and grow is essential.
Experience in cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team environment, particularly in fully remote teams, is required.

The position offers an annual base salary ranging from $200,000 to $240,000 USD.
Employees are eligible for a company-wide bonus tied to revenue goals.
Stock options are provided as part of the compensation package.
