Description:

ClickUp is seeking a driven staff software engineer to join their Docs team.
The role involves designing and delivering scalable distributed shared services used by other engineering teams.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining API endpoints, services, and workers for new features.
The engineer will write efficient SQL queries for app usage, reporting data metrics, and managing data integrity.
The position requires identifying and troubleshooting errors and performance issues within the infrastructure.
Participation in designing and building systems for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability is expected.
The engineer will work closely with frontend, quality assurance, and product teams.
A strong understanding of the various parts of the infrastructure and their interconnections is necessary.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience writing and maintaining APIs in a production-level environment, preferably with Node.js.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is essential.
Experience with AWS or another cloud service is required.
The candidate should be a strong self-starter, operationally-focused, and a problem-solver.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are necessary.
Desirable qualifications include experience with large scale processing and designing real-time collaboration systems.
