Description:

ClickUp is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer for their Integrations Platform in Czechia.
The role involves leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly scalable, high-quality APIs and services.
The engineer will work closely with product managers and software engineers to define a technological vision and strategy.
Collaboration with other engineers is essential to deliver complex features of the Integrations Platform.
The engineer will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting significant errors and performance issues within the environment.
Mentoring other engineers and providing technical guidance on best practices is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or an equivalent major is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in developing and maintaining systems.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is necessary.
Experience with relational databases at scale is required.
Familiarity with AWS or other major cloud services is essential.
Proficiency in TypeScript or other popular programming languages is needed.
The candidate should be a team player with excellent communication skills.
A strong sense of ownership and accountability is expected.
