Remote Staff Backend Engineer, Messaging Platform

Description:

• Postscript is redefining marketing for ecommerce companies by introducing SMS as a new channel for engagement, retention, and conversion.
• The Messaging Platform team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the inbound and outbound messaging conduits at Postscript.
• The company is currently replatforming its outbound messaging services and seeks a motivated software engineer interested in designing systems at scale in a microservices environment.

• This is a fully remote position.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in Go.
• Experience leading projects and successfully delivering end-to-end backend solutions.
• AWS experience is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced development environments is required.
• Experience in low latency, high throughput applications is necessary.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team player are essential.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and a flexible mindset are important.
