The position is remote, available to candidates in Europe, and requires availability during core hours of 8 AM to 12 PM EST (1 PM to 5 PM GMT).
Responsibilities include developing the open-source platform, designing scalable backend systems, collaborating with B2B SaaS engineering teams, optimizing backend services, shaping product strategy, maintaining the open-source repository, driving engineering best practices, and gaining hands-on experience in a startup environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of backend engineering experience.
Proficiency in Node.js is required.
A strong work ethic and sense of ownership are essential.
Great organizational skills are necessary to track and fulfill customer requests.
Excellent communication skills are needed to interact effectively with customers and team members in a remote setting.
A product mindset and developer empathy are important, with a focus on optimizing Developer Experience (DX).
Ability to write high-quality code that is readable, structured, documented, reliable, and performant is required.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
Experience in a startup, dev tool, and familiarity with US and/or remote companies is preferred.
