The video infrastructure supports thousands of concurrent users globally, providing low-latency and seamless interactions.
The role involves optimizing video servers for high participant counts and re-architecting the video system for SFU-cascading.
Responsibilities include gracefully degrading quality for bandwidth-constrained devices, building reliability tools, and creating automated tests for performance assurance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience working on large-scale group video calling platforms, such as Zoom or Google Meet.
Proficiency with WebRTC, either directly or through related libraries, is required.
The ideal candidate should possess intrinsic motivation and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
A strong intuition for well-designed software and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic startup environment are essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for this role.
