Description:

Freenome is a high-growth biotech company focused on developing tests to detect cancer through standard blood draws.
The Staff Business Solutions Engineer (ITBP) acts as a strategic liaison between assigned business units and IT, focusing on technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management.
This role involves providing high-level consulting support for key IT initiatives and communicating project information and priorities to relevant staff.
The ITBP identifies opportunities and prioritizes projects based on return on investment and compliance, while sharing insights on technology risks and opportunities to enhance business efficiency.
Responsibilities include developing and supporting solution roadmaps for Commercial, Clinical, and Quality organizations, and partnering with various teams to implement and support platforms like Salesforce and Veeva.
The ITBP will act as the key liaison across all functional areas, create shared visions for solutions, and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with business unit leaders is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are required.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry is important.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment is crucial.
Experience managing vendor relationships and IT contracts is required.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CFR 11, is necessary.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others are essential.
Knowledge of Clinical and Quality processes in Biotechnology, pharma, or diagnostics is required.
A deep understanding of Salesforce CRM and knowledge of Compliance Quest and Veeva Platform is necessary.

The US target range for the base salary for new hires is $166,175 - $252,500.
Employees will be eligible to receive pre-IPO equity, cash bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the position offered.
