Description:

Redox is seeking a Staff Cloud Engineer to join their Foundation Engineering team, which focuses on creating best practices, guardrails, and automation for application developers.
The role involves collaborating with others to create user experiences that solve important business problems.

The position requires working on a 100% cloud-native platform in AWS and GCP, utilizing a modern tech stack that includes deployment automation tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
Responsibilities include managing and improving deployment automation, partnering with application engineering and security, communicating with stakeholders, defining best practices, leading projects, and providing mentorship to other engineers.
The engineer will also support debugging and resolving issues in test and production environments as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles with broad technical expertise in cloud-native environments.
Deep expertise in cloud-hosted Kubernetes ecosystems (GKE and/or EKS) is required.
A solid understanding of security and intra- and inter-cloud networking is necessary.
Confidence in writing Terraform/HCL and Python code is essential.
Experience managing and using modern CI/CD systems is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work well with stakeholders and manage complex projects effectively.
A proven ability to deliver customer value through evaluating risks, designing solutions, and iterating on them is necessary.
