Description:
OctoAI, a leading startup in the generative AI market, is seeking a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in advancing the engineering efforts behind their Inference Serving platform.
The role involves architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, leading incident response efforts, managing monitoring tools, and integrating infrastructure solutions into the software development lifecycle.
The Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
The position requires ensuring security and compliance, automating routine tasks, and creating comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a strong background in incident management.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud, deep understanding of Kubernetes cluster management, and proficiency in Linux systems and scripting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, background in software engineering, and expertise in CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code tools.
Familiarity with observability tools, version control practices, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Proven effectiveness in leading cross-functional projects and building solutions leveraged across an organization.
