Description:

  • OctoAI, a leading startup in the generative AI market, is seeking a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in advancing the engineering efforts behind their Inference Serving platform.
  • The role involves architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, leading incident response efforts, managing monitoring tools, and integrating infrastructure solutions into the software development lifecycle.
  • The Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
  • The position requires ensuring security and compliance, automating routine tasks, and creating comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a strong background in incident management.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud, deep understanding of Kubernetes cluster management, and proficiency in Linux systems and scripting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, background in software engineering, and expertise in CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code tools.
  • Familiarity with observability tools, version control practices, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Proven effectiveness in leading cross-functional projects and building solutions leveraged across an organization.
