Description:
The Staff Cloud Network Engineer position at ServiceNow involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructures for customers.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing complex network architectures across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), utilizing cloud networking concepts, automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, installing and configuring network devices in bare-metal environments, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
The candidate must have a solid foundation in networking, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud computing technologies and 8 years in Internet and data center networks.
Required expertise includes designing and implementing complex network architectures in cloud environments, hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts, proficiency in Terraform and Ansible, deep understanding of network security principles, troubleshooting skills, and communication abilities.
Technical skills needed include knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, network devices like Panorama, Palo Alto, ISE, Fortinet, F5, Linux, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, and programming languages like Python, Go, and Bash.
Education requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Australian Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory for this position.
