Description:
The Staff Cloud Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructures across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
The role involves leveraging cloud networking expertise to optimize network traffic and ensure efficient communication between cloud resources.
The engineer will use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab to automate network infrastructure provisioning and management.
Proficiency in installing and configuring network devices (Panorama, Palo Alto, ISE, Fortinet, F5) in bare-metal environments is required.
Implementing robust security measures to protect networks from unauthorized access, intrusion, and data breaches is a key aspect of the role.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, security) is essential to deliver end-to-end network solutions meeting customer needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security, and load balancing.
Minimum 4 years of experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Minimum 8 years of experience in working on Internet and data center networks.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex network architectures in cloud environments.
Extensive hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts and technologies.
Proficiency in using Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning.
Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with Federal customers is a plus.
