Remote Staff Cloud Security Engineer

Description:

• The Staff Cloud Security Engineer will be an integral member of the Information Security Team at Reltio.
• This role is responsible for growing and leading various information security functions within the company.
• The position involves defining and driving the overall global enterprise security architecture.
• The engineer will help lead the security vision, strategy, and roadmap for securing enterprise applications.
• Collaboration with other technology teams is essential for initiatives related to security strategy and implementation.
• The successful candidate will work with business leaders to develop and deliver solutions that support business strategies and protect Reltio’s intellectual property and customer data globally.
• Responsibilities include serving as a security subject matter expert, recommending and optimizing threat detection/prevention solutions, developing defense techniques, resolving security configuration issues, performing technical risk assessments, and investigating security events and incidents.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in information security.
• A strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required.
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of industry-standard security technologies such as anti-virus, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, DLP, firewall, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) is necessary.
• A solid understanding of vulnerabilities and common attack vectors is essential.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as SOC1/SOC2, HITRUST, and ISO is required.
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of audit methodologies and processes.
• Experience working with virtual teams in a global environment is important.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary.
• Candidates should be adaptable, agile, and possess good interpersonal, partnership, and leadership skills without direct authority over others.
