Remote Staff Cyber Security Engineer (Generative AI)

Description:

• The Staff Cyber Security Engineer will be part of the NBCU Security Architecture team, focusing on emerging technologies like AI.
• They will collaborate with NBCUniversal businesses, enterprise IT, and Cyber Security organization to ensure secure technology deployment aligned with Cyber Security and enterprise technology strategies.
• The role involves being a security subject matter expert with knowledge across various domains, primarily focusing on security controls for AI systems and emerging technologies.
• Responsibilities include developing threat models, control strategies, and integrating security into the design, development, and operation of technology platforms.
• The Staff Cyber Security Engineer will communicate the importance of Cyber programs to gain support from business and technology teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in architecting secure products and maintaining a secure posture throughout their lifecycle.
• Ability to identify and mitigate common threats in Network, Cloud, Web, and Application environments considering product and business needs.
• Some knowledge of ML and generative AI technologies, including security concerns and mitigations.
• Familiarity with Cyber Security best practices like OWASP Top 10 and CWE/SANS Top 25.
• Advanced technical knowledge in security domains, with expertise in designing complex systems and mitigating risks.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in developing security guidelines and providing mentorship to junior team members.
• Constant learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
