Description:
Pearl Health is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to build robust data analytics infrastructure and drive data-informed decisions that impact clinical outcomes and P&L.
The role involves tackling problems related to practice engagement, patient spend insights, and network analytics while collaborating with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
Responsibilities include translating company goals into strategy, owning the design and maintenance of data pipelines in Snowflake & dbt, and establishing best-in-class data architectures.
The analyst will manage ambiguity in cross-functional projects, partner with teams to create actionable insights, and contribute to the data analytics roadmap.
The position also includes mentoring other data analysts and helping establish standards for analytical workflows.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in business analytics across the data pipeline, including data ingestion, architecture, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
Strong experience in building end-to-end data pipelines for business stakeholders, with direct experience using Snowflake, PySpark, and DBT preferred.
Demonstrated ability to design data schemas that maximize dataset utility is essential.
Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling is required.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are necessary to explain complex concepts clearly.
Experience in specifying cloud architecture using Terraform and familiarity with AWS cloud architectures are pluses.
Healthcare or insurance experience, and/or experience working in a startup is preferred.
Candidates should be thoughtful collaborators with a passion for building analytical systems.
Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is between $160,000-$180,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
