Description:
The Staff Data Analyst role is a key addition to the analytics team, supporting enrollment retention, customer support, and other divisions like Marketing.
This position will generate actionable insights across different lines of business to help senior leadership strategize innovation and strengthen market share.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics and is fully remote.
Responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to develop strategic plans, acting as a key advisor by providing insights that influence strategy, and presenting findings to executive teams.
The analyst will leverage tools like Snowflake, Tableau, and Google Spreadsheets to generate insights and reports.
Familiarity with data modeling, predictive analytics, and basic programming in Python is required.
The role involves cross-functional collaboration with data engineering and data science teams to ensure analytics insights inform business planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role within a technology-driven environment is necessary.
Proven experience in strategic planning and advisory roles, with the ability to influence product strategy and business outcomes is essential.
Expertise in analytics tools like Snowflake and Tableau is required.
Experience in conducting A/B testing and running experimental analytics to validate hypotheses is necessary.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
The ability to present complex data clearly and persuasively to executive teams is essential.
Familiarity with data modeling and predictive analytics is a plus, as is experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques.
