Description:

TextNow is seeking an experienced Staff Data Analyst to support the next phase of growth.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to provide analytics and insights for a consumer app and communications platform.
Responsibilities include understanding user pain points through quantitative methods, developing and presenting reports and dashboards, and conducting independent analyses to inform decision-making.
The analyst will execute experimentation roadmaps, implement tests, monitor results, and present recommendations.
The position requires generating actionable insights for Director+ level leadership through written and verbal communication.

Requirements:

A BA/BS in a quantitative discipline such as Math, Computer Science, Economics, or Analytics is required; an MS in Business Analytics is highly preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in business and/or product analytics, particularly with large, multi-dimensional datasets, is required, preferably in fast-growing tech companies.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Proficiency in extracting and transforming data from Snowflake warehouse using SQL is required.
Hands-on experience in designing, building, operating, and maintaining Tableau dashboards is essential.
Familiarity with consumer app businesses and concepts like NPS is preferred.
Experience in experimentation (A/B tests, geo tests, etc.) and basic statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing) is required.
Knowledge of analytic methods such as regression, decision trees, and forecasting is highly preferred.
The ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leadership is necessary.
A fast learner who can admit defeat, ask for help, and iterate quickly is essential.
The candidate must be respectfully candid and able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and peers on the data team.
Resourcefulness and the ability to deliver insights in a timely manner are required.
