  • As a Staff Data Engineer, you will be the technical lead for your team, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data assets.
  • You will be responsible for building out a data lakehouse for enterprise reporting, including the design and development of production-ready data pipelines and quality assurance of the data warehouse.
  • Your role will involve leading a data engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional project teams to implement data validation and QA standards.

Requirements:

  • You must have 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, particularly with data structures and cloud platform environments (AWS preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for advanced data processing and querying is required.
  • Experience with ETL performance tuning, data lake and lakehouse patterns, and distributed data processing/storage is essential.
  • You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong data intuition and a passion for data quality is necessary.
  • Proven ability to model data and build production-ready ETL pipelines handling TBs of data is required.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential for success in this role.
