As a Staff Data Engineer, you will be the technical lead for your team, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data assets.
You will be responsible for building out a data lakehouse for enterprise reporting, including the design and development of production-ready data pipelines and quality assurance of the data warehouse.
Your role will involve leading a data engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional project teams to implement data validation and QA standards.
Requirements:
You must have 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, particularly with data structures and cloud platform environments (AWS preferred).
Proficiency in Python and SQL for advanced data processing and querying is required.
Experience with ETL performance tuning, data lake and lakehouse patterns, and distributed data processing/storage is essential.
You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
A detail-oriented mindset with strong data intuition and a passion for data quality is necessary.
Proven ability to model data and build production-ready ETL pipelines handling TBs of data is required.
Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential for success in this role.
