Description:

Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable, and well-documented data pipelines within the Reporting and Data Science team at ABOUT YOU.
Responsible for overseeing the migration of data infrastructure from legacy systems to a new platform, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal downtime.
Develop and maintain a platform and framework to serve as the technical foundation for other data teams.
Establish and enforce data engineering standards, and share knowledge and best practices across the organization.
Drive continuous improvement in data infrastructure, identifying and implementing enhancements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a MINT-related field or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, with a focus on Python development.
Deep expertise in data orchestration and processing tools like Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Dataflow, or Metaflow.
Advanced SQL skills for big data environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Strong software engineering background and experience with queuing and messaging systems.
Leadership and communication skills to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to drive projects independently and manage cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of BigQuery, CI/CD tools, and containerization technologies like Docker.
