Description:

The Staff Data Reliability Engineer at Pismo will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-native and containerized infrastructure dedicated to hosting and integrating data products and services.
They will play a crucial role in increasing platform maturity by supporting other squads and participating in multidisciplinary projects with a focus on availability, security, and scalability.
The role requires an advanced understanding of systems design, cloud infrastructure, network, and databases or data-related technologies, with previous experience in complex technology adoptions.

Requirements:

Advanced English proficiency (speaking).
Solid experience with Cloud Management, preferably AWS.
Solid experience with Kubernetes Management and Containerized applications.
Experience with observability, including Logging and Metrics, with Tracing being a nice-to-have.
Proficiency in Shell Script and Linux Management.
Experience with automation languages like Python or others.
Experience with Streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or similar.
Knowledge in Databases, specifically MySQL and Postgres.
Desirable knowledge in BigData.
Desirable experience with serverless technologies like Lambda or Google Functions.
Desirable experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
Desirable knowledge of development and design patterns.
Desirable experience with NoSQL databases.
