Description:
- The Staff Data Reliability Engineer at Pismo will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-native and containerized infrastructure dedicated to hosting and integrating data products and services.
- They will play a crucial role in increasing platform maturity by supporting other squads and participating in multidisciplinary projects with a focus on availability, security, and scalability.
- The role requires an advanced understanding of systems design, cloud infrastructure, network, and databases or data-related technologies, with previous experience in complex technology adoptions.
Requirements:
- Advanced English proficiency (speaking).
- Solid experience with Cloud Management, preferably AWS.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes Management and Containerized applications.
- Experience with observability, including Logging and Metrics, with Tracing being a nice-to-have.
- Proficiency in Shell Script and Linux Management.
- Experience with automation languages like Python or others.
- Experience with Streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or similar.
- Knowledge in Databases, specifically MySQL and Postgres.
- Desirable knowledge in BigData.
- Desirable experience with serverless technologies like Lambda or Google Functions.
- Desirable experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Desirable knowledge of development and design patterns.
- Desirable experience with NoSQL databases.
