Remote Staff Data Scientist, Growth & Monetization

Description:

• Elevate Labs is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join their growth and revenue efforts during a pivotal time of company growth.
• The role involves collaborating with product teams and senior leadership to accelerate user acquisition, activation, and monetization.
• The individual will influence the overall monetization strategy by analyzing and experimenting with channel mix, onboarding experience, and conversion strategies on app and web.
• Responsibilities include driving revenue metrics such as conversion, subscription profitability, and subscriber retention in collaboration with the monetization product team.
• The position requires playing a key role in strategic initiatives to unlock new channels and platforms for user growth, including web-to-app.
• The Staff Data Scientist will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and finance to understand cohort performance, track financial metrics, and align marketing budgets.
• The role also involves influencing the data team in their roadmap, tech stack, and culture, including mentorship opportunities for other teammates.
• This is a fully remote position available to candidates in North or South America.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of analytical experience in digital consumer subscription or B2C mobile and web monetization, including funnel and cohort analysis, modeling LTV:CAC, user segmentation, conversion optimization, and AB testing.
• Experience in implementing analytics for web and developing measurement frameworks to understand ROI on web is required, with expertise in Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager or equivalent.
• Applicants should have experience forecasting revenue performance and working with marketing and finance to align budgets to expected ROI.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python is necessary, with the ability to own end-to-end data workflows that are efficient and well-tested.
• Candidates should have experience as a thought partner with stakeholders, translating complex, technical subjects into digestible and actionable information.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally and with senior leadership.
