• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing data quality checks and troubleshooting issues is essential.
• The engineer will work with databases, data warehouses, and other data sources to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
• Optimizing data queries and improving the performance of BI tools is a key responsibility.
• Monitoring and maintaining data pipelines to ensure timely data delivery to end-users is required.
• Staying current with the latest BI and data engineering trends and technologies is expected, along with bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field is required.
• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience working in a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server are necessary.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is required.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica is essential.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is expected.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data engineering solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data modeling is required.
• Certifications in cloud technologies, data engineering, or related fields are a plus.
• A good understanding of agile processes and the ability to handle ambiguity and make data-oriented decisions is necessary.
• Candidates should keep track of the latest industry trends and best practices.
• Attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset are important.
• Great communication skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, are required.
