Remote Staff Developer, Front End

Description:

• As a staff frontend developer at Workleap, you will be part of the Internal Developer Platform team, working on challenges in an advanced modern frontend stack.
• Your main responsibility will be to build technological solutions to set the centralized foundation for all software products developed at Workleap.
• You will act as a mentor to help developers grow and thrive, bring best practices to the company, and lead initiatives to continuously improve practices.
• Embracing the team's principles, you will focus on open-source collaboration, providing value, great documentation, and teamwork.
• Your impact will be adopting a product mindset, understanding development teams' needs, and being accountable for the services your team offers.
• A typical week will involve researching, learning, and developing new value, adoption activities, and helping teams improve their development experience.
• You will be part of a team of 8 experienced developers and a Technical Product Manager, working closely with principal developers and architects.
• The next challenges for your team include building internal products for reuse across all Workleap product portfolios.

Requirements:

• Fluent in React and proficient in Vanilla JavaScript and Nodejs.
• Proficient in frontend tooling such as Webpack, Babel, SWC, Storybook, Chromatic, ESLint, Stylelint, TypeScript, Jest, PNPM, Monorepos, or similar tools.
• Proficient in designing systems and APIs, as well as code libraries, with good knowledge of TypeScript and JSON-RPC.
• Familiarity with ECMAScript specifications, JavaScript rendering libraries, frameworks, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with hosting providers like Netlify, Cloudflare, and Vercel.
• Ability to keep up with changes in the front-end community and incorporate the latest technologies into the stack.
