Remote Staff Developer Tooling Engineer (Go/Typescript)

Description:

• As a Staff Developer Tooling Engineer at Netlify, you will collaborate with a motivated team to work on the platform's core primitives, including builds, functions, edge functions, and blobs.
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure powering these primitives using Golang and Terraform.
• Working on the Netlify DX layer for these primitives using Typescript and Golang will be part of your role.
• You will collaborate with framework authors and ecosystem partners to integrate these primitives into modern frameworks.
• Joining the on-call rotation, you will help the team pay down technical debt and improve reliability.
• Gain a deeper understanding of the product's needs, diagnose and solve problems, and have one-on-one's and pairing sessions with team members.
• Collaborate extensively with engineering leadership to enhance team scalability and observability.
• Make a significant impact on Netlify's engineering practice and tooling, fortify relationships with cross-functional team members, and broaden connections across the organization.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in developing production-level Golang and Typescript.
• Willingness to learn technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Deno, and the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Curiosity and openness to adopting new technologies and best practices.
• Passion for working collaboratively in a diverse, distributed team environment.
