Description:
Lead technical discussions and implement DevOps best practices, focusing on infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies.
Architect, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a junior DevOps engineer, assist in resource allocation planning, and participate in candidate interviews.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using ELK stack, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Telegraf.
Contribute to backend development projects primarily using Python.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies and methodologies to enhance DevOps and backend practices.
Identify and mitigate risks that may affect software project delivery.
Collaborate with Product Managers to advise on software development projects.
Work with stakeholders, customers, and team members to establish project goals and timelines.
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD standards.
Deep understanding of containerization technologies, highly distributed backend systems, and microservices architecture.
Experience in backend engineering and strong programming skills.
Familiarity with data stores such as Mongo, Postgres, and Redis.
Proficiency with ELK stack and Grafana.
Ability to act independently, proactively, and in ambiguity to anticipate and solve problems.
