Staff DevOps Engineers at Array are hands-on technical leaders who optimize and enhance CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployment of high-quality products.
They are involved in every stage of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, and drive initiatives that improve scalability, security, and resilience of systems.
Selected candidates will participate in a 90-day evaluation period, typically structured as a 1099 or C2C contract, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, developing automated deployment scripts, mentoring colleagues, and driving innovation within the infrastructure.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in DevOps with a strong track record of improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in fast-paced environments.
A solid understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is required.
Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins (or similar CI/CD platforms) is necessary.
A background in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go is essential.
Candidates should have a passion for building developer tools and streamlining workflows for engineering teams.
A strong focus on security and best practices in infrastructure, along with an understanding of compliance requirements, is important.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a bias towards action and delivering iterative improvements is expected.
