Remote Staff DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The Staff DevOps Engineer will automate the provisioning of infrastructure on AWS, Cloudflare, and other platforms using OpenTofu and custom Python scripts.
• This role involves designing and implementing automated workflows for building, testing, and deploying code using GitHub Actions.
• The engineer will configure and manage tracing, logging, and application performance monitoring software.
• A key responsibility is to be cognizant of security risks and proactively take security precautions, such as network segmentation and VPC design best practices.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have significant experience managing and scaling DevOps practices at an early stage company or demonstrate the capability to do so.
• The ideal candidate should be self-directed in their work and continuously seek to improve and automate the systems they work with.
• A strong value for simplicity is essential.
• Clear and concise writing skills are required.
