Remote Staff DevOps Engineer at Bloomreach

Description:

Bloomreach is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to join their Infrastructure team as a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer.
The role offers a salary starting from €4,500 based on experience level and allows for full-time remote work or office-based work in Central Europe.
The tech stack includes Python, Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform, Google Cloud, GCP Bigtable, GCP BigQuery, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and more.
The Infrastructure team operates and maintains Bloomreach Engagement core infrastructure on Google Cloud with a focus on security, high availability, costs, and scalability.
Responsibilities include designing sustainable infrastructure, microservice solutions, and a robust production environment, automating tools and infrastructure, monitoring applications, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Minimum of 3 years of production experience with Kubernetes, GCP/AWS/Azure, and Python/Go.
Proficiency in configuring pod/container security context, network policies, roles and role bindings, pod affinity, host path, pod disruption budgets, priority classes, node taints, etc.
Experience in resource optimization, cluster management, Terraform, monitoring and alerting, DevOps, CI/CD, and team onboarding and training.
