Remote Staff DevOps Engineer (Serbia)

Description:

• Azul, the only company focused 100% on Java, is seeking an experienced Staff DevOps Engineer to join their distributed Platform team.
• The engineer will work on introducing best practices from the DevOps and SRE fields to all Azul products.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing PoCs, leading cross-team projects, producing system requirements, supporting engineering teams, providing cloud expertise, automating engineering processes, and coaching team members.
• The engineer will work with a technology stack that includes CI tools like Gitlab and Jenkins, cloud platforms such as AWS and OpenStack, observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, orchestration with Kubernetes, and scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Go.

Requirements:

• Enjoy delivering at scale as a team rather than an individual contributor.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an architect/lead.
