The company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in AI-driven applications and fullstack development.
The role involves designing, building, and optimizing AI-powered systems while also engaging in traditional fullstack development.
The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-impact features and guide technical strategy.
This is an individual contributor leadership role that influences architecture, sets technical direction, and tackles complex engineering challenges.
The position plays a key role in shaping AI-driven workflows for a multi-million ARR product, impacting thousands of users.
Responsibilities include designing and integrating AI agents, training and optimizing LLMs, building scalable web application features, and leading all portions of the SDLC.
The engineer will also mentor other engineers and ensure high standards of code quality and engineering practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8-12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3-5+ years in a senior or technical leadership role.
Deep knowledge across the stack is required, particularly with Python, Node.js, and React.js.
Expertise in building AI-driven systems, especially AI Agents, AI search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation is essential.
Hands-on experience with vector databases, MLOps, and bringing AI products to production is necessary.
Proven ability to design scalable, distributed, and robust systems is required.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
A curious and problem-solving mindset is important, with a focus on optimizing existing architecture and processes.
A product mindset is necessary, caring about the business impact and user experience of the work.
Candidates should be versatile and able to switch between strategic discussions and hands-on execution.
Experience with DevOps, particularly with AWS, is a nice to have.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $175,000 to $200,000 a year.
