As a Staff Engineer - Application and Platform Security, you will be part of the Platform Engineering team, focusing on the security of the platform and web-service services.
Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, participating in design reviews, developing security policies, managing penetration testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You will enhance cloud security, improve data security posture, maintain documentation on security protocols, and implement compliance testing plans.

Requirements:

You must have at least 8 years of experience in application security for both internal and external-facing web services.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or JavaScript is required.
Experience with cloud security, specifically in AWS, EKS, and Kubernetes, is essential.
You should possess expert-level knowledge of authentication mechanisms for web and mobile applications and have practical experience in their secure implementation.
Proficiency with security tools for static code analysis, vulnerability assessment, and application monitoring is necessary.
A proven ability to collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to promote secure coding practices and a DevSecOps culture is required.
