Description:

Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company that provides a system of record for event marketing, helping companies find the highest ROI events to attend and sponsor.
The Staff Platform Engineer will be responsible for shaping the technical strategy for Vendelux's products and systems.
Responsibilities include owning features end-to-end, shipping high-quality software, solving technical problems, collaborating with teams and users, and working on the product roadmap.
The role involves mentoring engineers, using tools like Python, MySQL, Typescript, React, AWS, Snowflake, Datadog, and GitHub, and focusing on simplicity and consistency across the stack.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience building complex applications using a modern language (from Java to Typescript).
Track record of shaping and shipping valuable features, driving improvements to infrastructure and process, and taking on technical debt and risk where appropriate.
Strong communication skills, especially written.
Nice-to-have: Previous startup experience, DevOps or platform/infrastructure experience (or deep interest).
