Description:
The Staff Engineer, DevOps role at Reltio involves delivering best-in-class DevOps capabilities and enhancing developer experience.
The position is responsible for scaling cloud-based services by refining the internal platform with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous delivery.
The role includes setting clear maturity and strategic goals for the TechOps team to improve developer experience and DevOps maturity.
The engineer will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Responsibilities include designing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions, collaborating with various stakeholders, and optimizing the performance and cost of DevOps tools.
The engineer will also mentor junior platform engineers and integrate security controls into DevOps processes.
The position requires documenting technical designs and contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the TechOps team.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in software development and infrastructure operations.
Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools is essential.
Experience with declarative management tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in scripting and programming languages such as Python or Bash.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD is required.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are necessary for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork in a cross-functional environment.
A proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in DevOps methodologies is required.
