Description:
As a DevOps Engineer at Interview Kickstart, you will ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems that support our platform and services.
You will oversee and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
You will develop, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.
You will implement and manage automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment, using technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
You will establish and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
You will work closely with software development and IT teams to design and deploy robust solutions, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall system reliability.
You will implement and enforce security best practices across the development and deployment processes.
You will provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
You will participate in on-call issues, leading the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues to maintain the high availability and performance of our applications.
You will participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineers, helping to uphold the team’s technical standards.
Requirements:
You must have 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
You should have strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) is required.
You should have experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is necessary.
Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell are required.
You should have experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
A good understanding of networking, security, and database administration is essential.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are required.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary.
Experience in managing and reducing technical debt is preferred.
