Description:

The company is a Digital Product Engineering company that builds products, services, and experiences across all devices and digital mediums.
They are looking for a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
The role requires expertise in Snowflake, SQL Server, Python (Strong), and SQL (Strong).
The position involves designing and implementing complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations.
The Data Engineer will work directly with developers in an embedded DBA/DBM role.
Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for performance optimization is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering challenges are required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
2+ years commercial experience with MSSQL.
1+ years commercial experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
Experience in designing and implementing complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations.
In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for performance optimization.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and transformation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Data engineering certifications are a plus.
