Description:

Nivoda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer to join their rapidly growing team.
The role involves the continued development, optimization, and improvement of the integration with the NetSuite platform, bridging finance, product, and engineering.
The Staff Engineer will be the go-to technical expert, ensuring seamless integration and operation of the system while delivering new business capabilities.
Responsibilities include owning the integration between Nivoda systems and NetSuite, partnering with the head of accounting and key stakeholders to gather requirements, and leading the prioritization and delivery of new features.
The position also involves developing and managing integrations between NetSuite and third-party services, implementing changes in product flows and controls within NetSuite, and building processes for swift escalation and resolution of integration failures.
The Staff Engineer will provide technical support for transaction-related issues, mentor other engineers, and champion engineering best practices.
The role requires empowering the user base to run autonomously in their operational and month-end/quarter-end close procedures.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
A strong knowledge of JavaScript (NodeJS preferred) and SQL is required.
Candidates should possess strong system design knowledge and an understanding of design patterns.
Experience as a technical mentor is essential.
Candidates must have experience implementing best-in-class engineering practices and methodologies.
A strong understanding of financial accounting and business operations is necessary.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills are required.
Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite customizations is a bonus.
